Simple, real-life ways to use AI, even with a full-time job 💜

Notebook, pen and a cup of tea for a Sunday night planning habit

A 10-Minute Habit That Gives You Your Week Back

November 02, 2026

I work full time. I love my job, but my evenings used to disappear into little tasks I forgot to write down.

Then I started doing one small thing on Sunday night. It takes about ten minutes, and it has made my whole week feel calmer.

Here is what I do.

1. Dump it all out

I open my phone notes and type everything on my mind. No order. No pretty sentences. Just the stuff: groceries, a birthday card to send, a bill to check, a post idea, a call to make.

It does not have to look nice. It just has to get out of my head.

2. Ask AI to sort it

Then I paste that messy list into AI and ask it to sort it into a simple plan for the week. Something like: "Please sort this into a short plan for Monday through Friday, with no more than three things per day."

That is it. No fancy words needed. Plain talk works just fine.

3. Pick three, and let the rest wait

I look at the plan and pick the three things that matter most. The rest can wait, and that is okay. A short list I can actually finish beats a long list that just makes me feel behind.

Try this tonight

Tonight, take ten minutes. Write down everything on your mind, just like I do. Then ask AI to sort it into a short plan for the week.

You do not need to be good at tech for this to help. You just need a list and a few plain words.

Small steps add up. And a calmer week is a good place to start.
